HEY, I’M JESS - AN ENGLISH YOGA TEACHER BASED IN SWITZERLAND
WHAT I OFFER
Yoga trainings and immersions - both online and in person.
My teaching now focuses entirely on yoga education - for both dedicated students and aspiring teachers.
200 hour yoga teacher training
A three-week in person training combined with an online mentorship and business support. I’m biased, but it’s one of the best YTTs out there.
50 hour yoga student training (in person)
The ultimate YTT alternative - for those who want to learn more about yoga, but don’t want to teach it.
A one-week immersion specifically designed for students who want to go beyond weekly classes and explore yoga philosophy, energetics, and the science-spirituality connection.
Yoga student training (online)
A mixture of self-paced learning and live calls. The same topics as my in person YST, but available as an online course for your convenience.
My online YST is getting a glow-up and will be re-launched later in 2025. Join the waiting list and be the first to know when it’s open for enrollment.
The yoga wrist-oration project
Shooting pains in Side Plank or tenderness in Table Top?
I can help with that!
Say goodbye to sore wrists on your yoga mat and give your vinyasa a much needed makeover.
Coming soon - join the waiting list and be the first to know when it’s live.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Making yoga make sense.
My teaching honours the essence of yoga. I support the spiritual, philosophical, and energetic roots with modern day movement science, fascinating mind-body facts, and personal words of wisdom.
I love geeking out over anatomy and breathing just as much as I love learning about philosophy or neuroscience - but I always share this in an accessible way so you enjoy the benefits, but without the brain boggling.
My hope is that you’ll be able to take your practice beyond the poses and begin to embody the principles in your everyday life. My aim is to help you understand and experience the less tangible mental and emotional sides of yoga while forming a stronger, more compassionate connection to your body. It’s yoga for real people in a real world.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, then I’d love to practice with you.
MY YOGA JOURNEY
It wasn’t love at first sight.
Believe it or not, I didn’t enjoy my first yoga class. Having come from an intense sporting background and grown up with a “no pain, no gain” attitude, it wasn't something that I instantly resonated with and as I lay in my first Savasana, I remember willing it to end.
I only fell in love with yoga when I found an amazing studio with a bunch of down-to-earth, knowledgeable and friendly teachers. Before I knew it, I was hooked, and eventually I quit my job, flew to Thailand, and embarked on my first yoga teacher training.
Since then, I’ve taught in some amazing places around the world and dedicated almost a decade to learn more about bodies, minds and movement.
